Place of Enlightenment, Inc. is exploring the development of an affordable residential community on property in Ellenwood, Georgia. The vision is to transform the land into a thoughtfully designed community that expands access to quality, attainable homeownership.
The project is currently in the predevelopment and feasibility stage. The final number, size, and configuration of homes will be determined through professional site planning, engineering, zoning review, financing analysis, and DeKalb County approval.

Our goal is to help individuals and families experiencing housing instability move toward safe, stable, and sustainable housing while connecting them with supportive community resources.

Our housing mission includes affordable housing development, pathways toward homeownership, and transitional housing opportunities for individuals and families experiencing housing instability.
Our next chapter begins with the Ellenwood Affordable Housing Initiative - a proposed residential community currently in the predevelopment and feasibility stage. Through Ellenwood and future projects, we are working to create housing opportunities that people and families can truly call HOME.
